Question
I have a 1969 penny with a picture of the moon landing on the back. Could you tell me what it is worth?
Hi Michele, cents like these were stamped after they left the mint by people or businesses that sold them for $1 as souvenirs. Many feature John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, the Moon landing or a U.S. state outline. They have value only as curiosities and are worth a dollar at best depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
