Deb, this kind of piece was very common in the 1970s, with all the 50 states letters stamped on cents and sold as novelty pieces.  They really don't have any resale value today as there is not a great market for them.  Try going to www.ebay.com and doing searches like stamped cent (or penny) HI and the like and see if something like what you have comes up for sale, Jim Lawniczak
