Question
I read your answer regarding an s 1915 but this is an i 1914. I have not been able to find anything on the i 1914, or at least it looks like an i. I appreciate your help.

Answer
Hi Jack, There were 795,000 of the 20c coins minted in San Francisco with an S mintmark to the left of the date. No I mintmark was used that year. This coin should weigh 4.0 grams and would contain .0964 of an ounce of silver.
Collector value may be worth about $1.50 with heavy wear to around $8 with moderate wear to maybe $25 with light wear.
If you have pictures (not over 1 megabyte each please) you can email them to me at tbirde@psknet.com.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
