Question
Hello, my good friend has quite the collection of Canadian hundreds in pristine condition, I mean they look completely UNC.  He has had them in his safety deposit box and he finally brought them out as I explained to him how valueable his collection is.  He has some of them in sequence! I honestly feel he has one of the most impressive hundreds collection in Canada right now an we want to know how valueable these bills are in this pristine condition and with the sequences. Here is what he has:

CANADA 1937 HUNDREDs all B/J prefix #'s 4658708-09 (2 bills)
all Gordon Towers signed                                  4665645-50 (6 bills)
                                       then 6 more random serials

CANADA 1954 HUNDREDS all A/J prefix 0269891,93,95 (3 bills)
                                   0269897-99 (3 bills)
                                   0269138-41 (4 bills)
                                   0269138-44-50 (7 bills!)
                                   then 4 more random serials
all are devil-faced!

Any info on what these are worth, how they should be sold (ie. 1 collection or as sequenced sets would be greatly appreciated.  We really want to get these bills out to be registered as it is quite a group.

Thanks, D

Answer
Hi D, Collector value of a note depends on date, series letter or signature and condition, including amount of wear, any folds, tears or stains as well as collector demand.
The 1937 Gordon Towers $100 are estimated in the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money at $950 each if uncirculated.
The 1954 devil-face $100 list at $1025 with Coyne-Towers sig or $1500 with Beattie-Coyne.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison and as a place to offer them for sale.
The value of sequential numbers is entirely up to individual opinion and is not documented anywhere. The only other option is to try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison (which I mentioned).
