Question
BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERU     I HAVE A BILL THAT HAS 500 ON IT ALSO 26 DE JUNIO DE 1987. IT HAS A MAN WITH LONG HAIR ON FRONT AND A MAN HIKING A MOUNTIAN ON BACK WITH THE WORDS QUINIENTOS INTIS
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF IT HAS ANY VALUE I FOUND IT IN A WALLET IN THE TRASH

Answer
Hi Mary, this Peruvian note's collector value is about .10 to .50 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
A 1991 currency reform due to high inflation made 1 million Inti equal to 1 New Sol so this 500 Intis note is now only worth 17/1000ths of a U.S. cent.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
