Question

COIN X2
The year is quit clear and so is the US 111 . I can't locate any info in the coin books. Is it a US coin or a medal. And if it is does it have any value? I have taken pictures of both sides an can send it if you wish.
Thankyou for any  info that can come up with.

Answer
Hi Gaston, it is a British 1806 penny featuring King George III (1760-1820) and on the other side is the allegorical figure of Britannia leaning on a rock with a trident and shield which symbolizes Britain's mastery of the seas and worldwide empire.
It may be worth about $1 with that heavy amount of wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
