Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Coin values

QuestionHi!
I have a 1907 Liberty Head nickel, 1884, 1922 %26 1923 Silver dollar. Just wondering if they have any value?
There doesn't appear to be any mint marks on the silver dollars. Don't see the Morgan monogram on the 1884, but then not sure what I should be looking for!
Not sure what "relief" means in relationship to value.
Also wondering if you know of a reputable place in North Dakota to take the coins to be looked at if they have any value?
Any info you could provide would be much appreciated!
Thanks!
AnswerHi Shelly, Collector value of a coin depends on denomination (face value), date, mint mark (if any), number minted and condition of a coin, including amount of wear, any dents, scratches or cleaning as well as collector demand for it.
1907 Liberty Head nickel, collector value may be worth about $2 with heavy wear to around $13 with moderate wear to maybe $28 with light wear.
U.S. silver dollars weigh 26.73 grams and contain .7736 of an ounce of silver. The Morgan dollar (1878-1921), nicknamed after its designer, may have a mintmark letter below the eagle while the other, a Peace dollar (1921-35), may have a mintmark letter by the tip of the tail.
1884 $15-$30+; 1922, 1923, $15-$20+.
U.S. coin prices for professionally graded coins:

and ungraded coins:

Ungraded coins (raw) are worth less depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
You might take it by a local coin shop for a first hand opinion:

You might also try a library for a copy of the Guidebook of United States Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
'Relief' is how high the design is above the surface of the coin. Some types have high or low relief varieties that may affect value.
