Question
I need a one dollar coin that weighs at least 33 grams. Here are a few of the coin dates I need 1799, 1804, 1839, 1856. The coin has to have the lady liberty on one side and the eagle on the other side with 13 stars on each side. Can you please help or advise me? I have been asking everyone for help to no avail.

Thank you very much in advance.

Answer
There was a U.S. silver dollar with each of the dates you list -- I don't know if they were 44 grams or not.  The 1804 is an incredible rarity, very expensive.  The 1839 was made only in proof.  Try going to www.ebay.com and doing searches for "1799 silver dollar" and similar searches and see if anything comes up for sale.  For the 1804, you'll have to get involved with a high end dealer probably or maybe just watch to see if one comes on for auction at a major coin show (such as the American Numismatic Ass'n convention).  Jim Lawniczak
