QuestionHi
wanted to find out a value on my coin if possible or if there is other coins in this collection
if you need other info on coin let me know
AnswerHi Ryan, Collector value of a coin depends on denomination (face value), date, mint mark (if any), number minted and condition of a coin, including amount of wear, any dents, scratches or cleaning as well as collector demand for it.
The only Rhodesian coin dated 1965 is the copper-nickel Zambia 5 Shillings depicting President Kuanda. Collector value may be worth about $1 with heavy wear to around $2.50 with moderate wear to maybe $3.50 with light wear to perhaps $6.50 if uncirculated or $9 if Proof. Proof coins have mirror fields that allows reflecting newsprint to be read at least 6 inches away.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
