I have tried to find some data on this coin and the only info I found was on your site. On 12/08/2997 a Stacy asked you about this coin ( a 1968 one)depicting a long haired pioneer type gent on obverse side. I just wondered if you have since managed to get any detailed info about it. Your answer at the time was rather limited.

Hi Mary, There were 6 million gold South African Krugerrand coins minted that year featuring Paul Kruger. This coin should weigh 33.93 grams and would contain 1.0 of an ounce of gold. It may be worth up to about 5% over the gold value.
