Question

e.f.5 token obverse
Hello, I have worked long and hard to try and ID this coin/token ... I found it in a cheap deco can that I bought at a flea market... It looks old. and I have some good pictures of it.

*** The obverse of the coin/token has the initials E.F on top and centered under the initials is the number 5 . The obverse edge is pressed with a lined design and a regular rim like surface that mimicks the flat fields of the coin . The reverse of the coin or token is strange because it appears that this coin was either weekly struck or was worn badly... I am not sure but I would really like to see a definite answer to this as I have been searching hard for a answer for some time!! Thanks so much for your help and I hope you know a bit about this so that I can answer this burning question!! Thanks again..

Answer
Craig, tokens with just stray letters are really hard to identify -- essentially, "E.F." can be a lot of different people.  You may never know.  Try going to www.ebay.com and doing a search for "E.F. token" and see if anything comes up.  Maybe try the same search on www.google.com.  You may want to add the "5" to the search, but I'd be surprised if too many items come up, Jim Lawniczak
