Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Thai 10 Baht Note

Question

10 Baht Note
I have a Thai 10 Baht Note that I received in change when I was living in Thailand in the 60s.  Its unusual characteristic is that its serial number is all 1's and the number 1 is (or was at that time) considered lucky in Thailand. Several Thais wanted to buy it off of me then but I held on to it for whatever reason. Does it have any collector's value now or did it pass by its opportunity?  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Bob, ordinarily this 1953 note may be worth about $1-$2 with that amount of wear but with the serial number it may be worth $5 to $10 I would think depending on amount of collector demand.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.

You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money, where this note is listed as #76d under Thailand, for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
