Question
Hi I am interested in finding out the value of my copper buffalo nickel it doesn't have a date and has some wear if u could contact me at my email and give me some insite. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Answer
Hi Darrell, is it brown in color? Is it the size of a modern nickel?
These were made of a copper-nickel alloy, the same as the nickels made today. It may be discolored for some reason.
Cleaning coins that leaves them shiny or scratched, even if only by looking with a magnifying glass, will reduce a coin's value by at least half. But if the date is worn off then it is only worth about 5-10 cents at best anyway.
