Question
i have hawaiian dollar bills in different denominations dated in 1895 with Hawaii Republic on it and wondering if they are worth anything.  Is there anywhere that I can get more info on it?

Answer
Hi Noreen, these are likely reproductions made for tourists, The actual gold (black and gold) and silver (black and blue) notes are very rare and worth thousands of dollars. In case they are not copies then...Congratulations!
You might take them by a local coin shop for a first hand opinion: http://find.mapmuse.com/directory/coin-dealers/hi
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
