Question
I have a U.S. penny one side has no print on it where the date should be, Can you tell me anything about this it has copper out side and nickel or some type of metal inside. Can it be worth anything and where can I go to find out. I live in Ottawa Ont, Canada

Answer
It would have been dated 1982 or later.  Since 1982, the one cent coins have been made of copper coated zinc.

Since none of the other details are missing, it sounds like someone purposely polished the date off.
However, to be sure, have a professional numismatist look at at for you.
