Question
Hi The coin is date 1925 with a denomination of "1" below which are 4 letters, the first looks like the Greek letter pi, the next two are capital letters E and B, and the last looks like half a T with a b over it. The other side has 2 forward facfing lions holding flags with 3 horizontal strips each. Between the lions is a shield with a left facing standing lions. There are 2 stacked crowns above the shield. There is an 8 letter word (last letter a backward R) at the top in a round rope border.
Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Joe, There were 70 million of these copper-nickel Bulgarian 1 Lev coins minted that year, half of which have a thunderbolt mintmark below the date. Either one's collector value may be worth about .15 with heavy wear to around .60 with moderate wear to maybe $1.50 with light wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
