Question
I have a card which has seven coins (4 - Round, 3 - Octagon) in which were given to me as a youth. I am interested in selling them, but don't know what they may be worth.

The dates range from 1852-1858, and are in exceptional condition. Is there a source online to review their value or estimate the value?

Answer
Hi Rick, many reproductions and fantasy issues exist of California gold pieces.
Try these sites for more info:

You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Guidebook of United States Coins and Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
