Coin and Paper Money Collecting/One Dollar Bill

Question
I have a one dollar bill that is regular (green) on the front and gold tone on the back. Its Series 1963A.  Is there anything you can tell me about this?  How rare/unique is it or what is its worth?

Answer
Hi Stephanie, ordinarily a 1963A $1 note may be worth up to about $3 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
The gold tone isn't something that happens where the notes are printed. It isn't necessarily more valuable because of it.
You might take it by a local coin shop for a first hand opinion: http://find.mapmuse.com/interest/coin_dealers .
