Hi Mr.Swain, I own a france coin of 5 france with 'FRANCAISE REPUBLIQUE' written on one side and "LIBERTE-EGALITE-FRATERNITE 1960' on the other side. I would like to know the value of this particular coin. Could you please help me with it.

Hi Sajeev, There were 55.2 million of these French 5 Francs coins minted that year. It contains .3221 of an ounce of silver. It may be worth about $5-$7 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
