QUESTION: Dimitry,

Mine are in better condition. Bright silver, 1 with no scratches, and one in the original casing with plastic overlay. What are they worth?
Thanks!

ANSWER: Hi Sheri,
The one that is loose in mint condition is worth right around $25. They are not common in mint packaging, and that one would be in the $40 to $50 value range.
Thanks for the question! =)

QUESTION: tHANKS FOR GETTING BACK TO ME SO QUICKLY. HOW WOULD I SELL THEM? I HAVE INHERITED SOME COINS FROM MY FATHER..MOSTLY ISRAELI COMMERATIVE SILVER COINS BUT ALSO SOME OTHERS
WHAT DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN?

Answer
No problem! =)
I specialize in all non-US coins from the 1700's to present. You best bet for selling these is to do it through eBay auction. Both the Greek and Israeli silver coins are fairly popular and there are plenty of people who will bid on them. Just make sure you have clear pictures of both sides, that way people will see the excellent condition.
The Israeli commemorative silver coins typically sell for $20-$25, though there are a couple worth less and a couple worth more.
Thanks again! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.

Experience

Collector of world coins since early childhood. Access to a variety of auction records and reference material. You can also find me on Facebook.
