Mexico 1959, Ano de Carranza, 18.055G, Ley 720, Cinco Pesos

Answer
Hi Ruth, Collector value of a coin depends on denomination (face value), date, mint mark (if any), number minted and condition of a coin, including amount of wear, any dents, scratches or cleaning as well as collector demand for it.
Mexico 1953, 5 Pesos, Hidalgo, 72% silver (.6430 of an ounce of silver), 20.4 million minted that year, worth up to about $12 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
Mexico 1959, 5 Pesos, Carranza, 72% silver (.4178 of an ounce of silver), 1 million minted, worth up to about $8.
Mexican 1959 & 1962, 1 peso, Morelos, 10% silver (.0514 of an ounce of silver), 27.4 million and 61.1 million minted, worth up to about $2 each.
