Question

19 wheat back
HELLO. I WAS WONDERING ABOUT A WHEAT BACK. THE DATE IS ONLY 19-,THE PENNY IS IN GOOD SHAPE. IT HAS A (S) MARK. I USED A 100X TO LOOK AT THE COIN. I THINK FROM ALL THE RESEARCH THAT I'V DONE, I FOUND THAT IN 1918 THEY WERE 1919-S THE DIE GOT PACKED. THERE IS NO 19, WITH THE 100X I CAN SEE THE S SHADOWED. IS THERE ANY VALUE TO THIS COIN. FROM RESEARCH MOST OF THE COINS WERE RESIRCULATED. SOME GOT OUT IN SOMEONES POCKET. I'M NOT 100% SURE IF ANY GOT OUT IN CIRCULATION. I WOULD BE GREATFUL TO HERE FROM YOU. I THANK YOU, HAVE A NICE DAY. JOEGOTTASELL...

Answer
Hello Joseph,
Grease in the dies was a common problem years ago.  If the grease is packed in the recesses of the die, the detail is lost at striking.  This is what happened with your coin.
Unfortunately, it doesn't have any additional value to error collectors.
