Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1907 1 Mark German coin

Question
I have about 11 rolls of silver quarters, from 1930s-mid 1960s.  I found a 1907 1 Mark in excellent condition.  What is this stuff worth?  Also have about 30 standing liberties, some from late 1800s, not very good shape.  I'm not big into Ebay, so any help is appreciated.  Comments, please!

Answer
Hi Jeff,
The 1907 German silver mark starts at around $10 in excellent condition and goes into the $50 to $100 for one in mint condition that is still shiny. Whether it would be in the lower or higher end of that range depends on the mint marks, which are two small letters under the eagle's talons and tail. The G and J marks are worth more, while any other letters are worth less.
For the late 1800's US silver quarters, if you give me a list of the dates (and mint marks, if any) I can give you a more exact estimate on value. Some dates can still be valuable even in rough shape.
For a group like these that are all common dates and well worn, they sell on eBay (in groups) for around 3 times more than the 1920's-1964 quarters do. However, out of 30 it is likely that there will be a better one or two.
Thanks for the question! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.
