whats it worth? in silver? its worn pretty. face is worn out. so wondering what it would be worth silver wise. thankz

Hi Peter, There were 1.33 million minted that year. It contains .1728 of an ounce of silver, currently about $2.90 U.S.

Be advised, collector value is about $5 or more even with heavy wear.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
You might also try a library for copies of the Standard Catalog of World Coins, Coins of Canada, or Standard Catalogue of Canadian Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
