Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1943 penny error

Question
I have what appears to be a 1943 penny struck on a dime planchette
It is not a steel penny and it appears to be about the same weight as a mercury dime. It is in good condition and I am not sure what I should do with it. I would think this would be a very rare coin.

Answer
Coins struck on the wrong planchet are scarce.  They are certainly scarcer from your era, however without seeing the coin, I can't put a value on it.  I do have private clients who collect these and I could probably place the coin for you.
