Hi Ron......I discovered approximatly (40) 1963 series "A" dollar bills (Fedral Reserve Notes) in uncirculated condition. They were a promotion from a bank who put them in a check book with the banks name on it and glued together at the top so they could be peeled off and spent. Are they worth any more than a buck each? Thank you for allowing me to answer your question.

Collector value of your note depends on date and condition, including amount of wear, any folds, tears or stains as well as collector demand.

A current issue of "Paper Money Values" indicates your notes to have a value of about $2.25 with light wear to perhaps $6.00 in choice uncirculated depending on amount of collector demand. With a star note, the value goes to $4.00 in EF condition, with an CH UNC note at $9.50.

You may want to check US currency listings under one dollar notes on eBay from time to time to see what this type of note brings.

If you live near a coin shop, I'd suggest you let them look at the notes. Most dealers will offer an opinion as to their value at no charge.
