Question
found a 1973d penny with kennedys face on it to

Answer
Hi Derek, cents like these were stamped after they left the mint by people or businesses that sold them for $1 as souvenirs. Many feature John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, the Moon landing or a U.S. state outline. They have value only as curiosities and are worth a dollar at best depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
