Question
Hi Brad, I have a King George 2 dollar bill serial # Y/B 381733 dated Jan. 1937 signed by D. Gordon and G.F. Towes  in great condition, with a fold in the middle and a tiny 2mm tear in the bottom left corner.  I also have a King George 20 dollar bill serial #K/E5072285 also from Jan. 1937 signed by looks like J.E. Coyne and G. F. Towes It is a little more worn, but still in really good shape.  I also have a paper centennial dollar one with the serial number and one without.  Do you have any idea how much these notes are worth and where would be a good place to sell them.  Thanks so much, Jayne

Answer
Hi Jayne, Collector value of a note depends on date, denomination (face value), series letter or signature and condition, including amount of wear, any folds, tears or stains as well as collector demand.
The $2 may be worth about $50-$100 with that amount of wear while the $20 may be worth about $30 depending on amount of collector demand.
The 1867-1967 dollar may be worth about $3.50 if uncirculated (no wear) while one with the serial number may be worth about $5. With wear they may both be worth up to about $2.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison and as a place to offer them for sale.
