I have about 100 British pennies dated from 1889 to 1947 what are the rare dates if any and what are they worth. Thank You,Stanley

Hi Stanley, of course, ones with very little wear would be worth a lot compared to ones with heavy wear. There are a couple scarce varieties but nearly all the regular dates in that range are not scarce with the expected wear they should have at their age. Exceptional examples command a high premium though. Demand, and therefore values, are higher in Britain than elsewhere.
