Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Coin Grading

Question
I have some quality Morgan and Peace dollars I believe will bring a fair return at auction but they are "raw". Do you think it is better to go through a dealer or send them directly to say PCGS to have them graded? Also any suggestions on the fees, it's all very confusing. Thank you by the way for all your advice, I was reading the other Q and A's and got a lot of information I needed.

Answer
Hi Anna,
Many coins don't pay to have certified.  Common date Morgans, unless thay are MS-65 don't pay to have graded.  Grading will cost anywhere from $30 and up per coin unless you have 100 of them, then it drops to $12, (I think).  Add shipping and insurance both ways also.

In other words, it all depends on the dates you have.  Feel freet o contact me at JoeHylas@aol.com
