Question
I have a gold 1912 5 Guilder coin. It has Koningrijk Nederlanden written on it. I was wondering what this coin would be worth. Thanks!
Hi Patricia, There were 1 million of these 5 Gulden coins minted that one year featuring Queen Wilhelmina (1890-1948). This coin should weigh 3.360 grams and would contain .0972 of an ounce of gold. Collector value may be worth about $100 with heavy wear to around $125 with moderate wear to maybe $150 with light wear to perhaps $200 without wear (uncirculated).

Weigh it though as counterfeits are prevalent.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
