Question

Unknown foreign curren
Dear sir: My mother recently gave me some foreign money that she had from her visit to asia in the 1960's. It is paper currency from a country in asia, maybe Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore etc. It is very hard to describe it so I have enclosed an attachment of what it looks like. Could you possibly tell me where it came from and what it might be worth today in value and also to a collecter of foriegn money. Thanks for your time sir.

Answer
Hi Reggie, this is a 20 Baht note issued from 1981 into the 1990s from Thailand featuring King Adulyadej (1946+).
It is worth $1 or less with that amount of wear.

You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
