)
I have 2 medals, 1 bronze and 1 silver, that are identical except for the metal. The obverse has pictures of people's heads, the only one I recognize is Albert Einstein. The reverse says "300 Years of Germans Helping Build America" around the rim and a picture of a ship and the dates 1683-1983. Also the phrase "German American Tricentennial". Each medal is in a plastic holder measuring approximately 4"X6". The medals themselves are 1.5" in diameter. I would appreciate any and all information I could get about these medals. I inherited them from my uncle and can find nothing about them like where they were made and any value they might have.

Usually it will be marked on the dge as to who made the medals. It may say Medallic Art Co or Franklin Mint, etc.
Rarely are the bronze ones worth anything at all. The silver ones trade for their silver content.
