QUESTION: Hi i have 2 coins which i sent you the pictures of which are 24mm and dated 1710 and 1722. The other is 26mm-26.5mm and dated 1710. I had a feeling they were from Valais but I'm quite new to this and wanted to make sure. Thank you very much for your help.

Answer
Hi James, the 1710 and 1722 are 1 batzen coins. The larger 1710 is a 20 kreuzer coin. The first two are made of billon, a low grade silver alloy while the third is a higher grade of silver.
Following are the value estimates of the coins with heavy, medium and light wear:
1b, 1710, $1.75, $22.50, $47.50.
1b, 1722, $2, $25, $50.
20 kr, 1710, $10, $75, $100.
