I would like to find out the price for a 1909 Lincoln VDB penny.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to answer your question.
There are two 1909 VDB cents, one with no mint mark (less expensive), for Philadelphia, and one for San Francisco, with a "S" mint mark below the date (more expensive). You can purchase a no mint mark VDB cent for about $12 in good condition, and around $20 in extra fine. A "S" mint mark coin will cost about $800 in good and up to $1400 in extra fine.

Worked weekends for "Lonesome" John in the late 1960's to mid 1970's processing error coins, packaging, and preparing orders.
