Question

Phil.Currency typo on
Hi Brad, i have this Philippine currency 100 peso bill with a typo error printed 1n 2005 , the president of the Philippnes is "Gloria Macapagal Arroyo". her last name on the bill was printed "ARROVO" instead of ARROYO. i'ts in very good conditon ; no folds, creases or wear and tear looks like AU. How much do you think it worths? thank you
Jesse

Answer
Hi Jesse, this error is listed in the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money (try a library). It may be worth about $5-$10 in AU about $1 more than the non-error note. Of course, value depends on amount of collector demand and in the Philippines it may go for more than in the U.S.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
