Question
hello i have a $2 canidian bill fom1986 serial # ebh9668633 and a $1 canidian bill dated 1973 serial number eag2221494 i would like to know if they are worth anything more than face value thank you

Answer
Hi Nicole, Collector value of a note depends on date, denomination (face value), series letter or signature and condition, including amount of wear, any folds, tears or stains as well as collector demand.
The 1986 $2 may be worth $2 up to about $8.50 if the signatures are Crow/Bouey. A different signature may be worth about $2-$4 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
The 1973 $1 may be worth $1-$6 with the Lawson/Bouey signatures and $1-$3.50 with Crow/Bouey.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
