Hi Brad,
Having problems finding out this one. Size and color of a nickel.
heads side has a side view of a mans face with writing (arabic?) at the 10 o'clock and 4 o'clock area  on the coin.

tails side as 2 dates at the top 1974 and 1394. in the middle is a crest with a crown at the top and a lion on either side. bottom is a 50 with more writing.

Hi Dave, There were 40.4 million of these copper-nickel Morocco 50 santimat coins featuring King Hassan II (1962-99) minted that year. It may be worth about .20 with that amount of wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
