Questioni have a 25 ore coin from denmark dated1924 it has a whole in the middle not to sure why and i also have other coins dated 1953, 1957, and another25 ore coin. i also have another 2 25 cent coints dated1948 and a 10 cent coin dated1951. Are these coins good in value and how much would i be able to sell them for.
AnswerHi Everett, Collector value of a coin depends on denomination (face value), date, mint mark (if any), number minted and condition of a coin, including amount of wear, any dents, scratches or cleaning as well as collector demand for it.
Denmark copper-nickel 25 ore coins:
1924, collector value may be worth about .15 with heavy wear to around $1.75 with moderate wear to maybe $4.50 with light wear.
1953, .10, .50, $2.25 in the same conditions as listed above.
1957, .10, .50, .75 in the same conditions as listed above.
25 cent 1948, featuring Queen Juliana of the Netherlands? If so, .10, .15, .50.
10 cent 1951, same as above, .10, .15, .35.
