Question
I have a 1947 cinco pesos paper money. What is the value of this currency? It has a date of Sep. 3, 1947. It is a series AK.It also has I-D-8 on it. The seral number(I guess that is what it is)is M5302331. It was made by the American Bank Note Company. I hope I have added all the  information right. The bank note is in very good condition. Thank you, Jan

Answer
Hi Jan, thanks for all the info! That makes it easy to tell you that this 5 Pesos note collector value may be worth about $1 with heavy wear to around $3 with moderate wear to maybe $5 with light wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World  Paper Money for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
