Question
i have with me a few non-magnetic pennys... the dates on them are 2003, 2004, 2005 and i have quite a few 20906 ones as well. i was just wondering if you could tell me if there is any thing important that i should know about these coins. they are canadian.all the coins have no mark underneath the queen either.

Answer
Hi Shawn, these non-magnetic cents are the copper plated zinc variety also issued in large numbers. The 2003 (crowned and uncrowned versions) had a lower mintage than the others but not low enough to make them scarce.
You might also try a library for copies of the Standard Catalog of World Coins, Coins of Canada, or Standard Catalogue of Canadian Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
