Question
I found a coin with a male and female standing with there arms up with a 2 and 5 on either side of them.  A lion head on the back and the writing is another language.  The color is either bronze or silver. Any clue as to the value or where it's from?  Thanks for any help!

Answer
Hi Treela, this is a 1977 copper-nickel alloy Ethiopian 25 cents that may be worth .10 to about $1.50 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
