Question
I have a 1 Anna - Copper-Nickel dated 1910 I'm trying to find out it value could you help me out

Answer
Hi Andrew,
The value of this Indian coin depends very much on condition. If the coin is used, and there is a flat, worn area in the bottom band of the crown, it's worth a couple of dollars or less.
However, mint condition coins have been selling for crazy prices. If the bottom band is not broken and you can see all the little gems, this coin is worth $20-$30 on the current market. If you are lucky enough to have one that is still shiny as well, you would be looking at $100+. The most recent coin price guides list this coin at around $10 in the best condition, but the market is much hotter than that.
If you would like a more exact evaluation of your coin, just post a follow-up question with a clear picture of the portrait side.
Thanks for the question! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.

Collector of world coins since early childhood. Access to a variety of auction records and reference material. You can also find me on Facebook.
