Question
I have a 1950 Series D $10 bill that is crisp and dark. It is obviously uncirculated with no damage or wear whatsoever. It is from the Federal Reserve in St. Louis, MO and has the following:

H inside the circle
Serial Number: H 52404258 B
Number 8
K 456 in lower right
K in upper left
1763 on back lower right

Please advise as to its value/worth. I am attempting to sell this.

Answer
Hi Terri, Collector value of a note depends on date, denomination (face value), series letter or signature and condition, including amount of wear, any folds, tears or stains as well as collector demand. There have been so many made of these that only the uncirculated ones (no wear) have any significant value above face value. It may be worth $30-$70 if uncirculated depending on amount of collector demand.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
