Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1965 double dot penny

Question
Purchased a 1965 double dot Lincoln penny from an estate. It was sent from Fred Causey and Co.  in Fort Worth Texas to the buyer in 1967. Wondering what the value is. Thank you.

Answer
Hello Myra,

There are many minor errors in US coinage, this happens to be one of them.  Unfortunately, this error never became popular with collectors and as a result has very little value.
You can check on eBay for similar items, if you can even find one listed.
