Question
QUESTION: I have today bought a bracelet which had had this coin attached. I can find no reference to one of this date. It is in very worn condition but the writing is legible it has a small piece missing where it had been attached to the bracelet . Can i have your opinion please ,kind regards Alan

ANSWER: Hi Alan, what is the lettering on the coin between DEO and IN?
If genuine, this coin should weigh 6.7668 grams and would contain .1904 of an ounce of gold.
If you have clear pictures (not over 1 megabyte each please) you can email them to me at tbirde@psknet.com.
With more info I'll be glad to help further.

Answer
Hi Alan, Guatemala used an NG. Peru used an IJ but not that year.
It may be a replica for jewelry. If you have clear pictures of the other side (not over 1 megabyte each please) you can email them to me at tbirde@psknet.com.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
