I got a German coin wondering whats its worth? One side of it has a eagle with a nazi sign and Deutrehes Reich 1940 written on it and the other has Reichgpfennig 50 and a little tiny a on the bottom.           One more thing I got a coin collection what is the easiest site to find out information on them  american.

Answer
Hi Darci, There were 56.1 million of these aluminum German 50 pfennig coins minted in Berlin (A) that year. Collector value may be worth about .50 with heavy wear to around $4.50 with moderate wear to maybe $11 with light wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.

and ungraded coins: http://www.bestcoin.com/united-states-coin-pricing-guide.htm .
Ungraded coins (raw) are worth less depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
