Coin and Paper Money Collecting/TWO HEADED COIN

Question
I HAVE FOUND A NEWLY MINTED TWO HEADED QUARTER. ONE SIDE HAS THE P STAMP ON IT AND THE OTHER SIDE HAS THE D STAMP ON IT. DO THESE OCCUR OFTEN AND DOES IT HAVE ANY VALUE?

Answer
Hi Scott, This is a 'magic coin' made by carefully fitting two halves of two different coins together. They can often be found in novelty or magic shops for a couple dollars. A seam on the edge may or may not be visible.
