Question
Hi, was wondering if this coin is worth anything if it is how much? It says 1858-1947 on the front and says Max Planck on the back is a bird with the date 1957. Any help would be great

Answer
Hi Jackie, these copper-nickel West German 2 Mark coins featuring physicist Max Planck were minted 1957-71. There is a small mintmark letter to the right of the 2. Collector value may be worth about $2 with moderate wear to maybe $6 with light wear to perhaps $60 if uncirculated (no wear).
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
