Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Palestine coin 1927

Question
Is a two mils coin from Palestine 1927 worth anything? Thank you

Answer
Hi Debora,
The value for this coin really depends on the condition. They are certainly popular and there are plenty of collectors. Coins like this are common in well used condition and sell for just a couple of dollars. In really nice condition they go up tp $10. If you find one in mint condition with red luster, the value can be up to $100.
If you would like to post a picture of the coin I can give you the exact grade and value. This would not be possible from a written description alone.
Thanks for the question! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.
